Ogoh-ogoh Festival
I was on my way home from work when I see some crowds of people gathering around Monas. I decided to park my motorbike and went on to see what was going on. It turned out that it there was a Nyepi celebration held by Hindu community in Jakarta. The celebration went on with Ogoh-ogoh statues being brought. Later that night they continued to the point where some of the Ogoh statues were all burned. According to their beliefs, ogoh-ogoh statues represent the evil gods and must be perished.
